Amber Steel

Controller

Amber Steel joined CEC in July 2011, and serves as the Controller for CEC. She received an MBA from University of Central Oklahoma in December 2022 and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern Nazarene University. Amber is representing CEC as an ODOT/ACEC Administration subcommittee member, and also serves on the board of directors for the Oklahoma chapter of WTS, an organization focused on advancing the role of women in the transportation industry. In her free time, Mrs. Steel enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family including her husband, Rusty, and their two children. Amber is passionate about helping others, especially children experiencing poverty, so she is often involved in community outreach events and looks for opportunities to serve local organizations making a difference.
