Make-Ready Engineering for Bluepeak Fiber
In order to attach to new aerial fiber optic cable, CEC performed a full analysis of 5,695 poles in 29 separate work orders for Bluepeak Fiber in Enid, OK.
This project included physical in-field height measurements of all existing conductors and telecommunication lines, as well as LiDAR scanning. Our team completed pole loading analysis and vertical clearance analysis of all poles based off LiDAR and field collected data using commercially available software. Finally, our team delivered a design packet, construction material list, and construction cost estimate for each of the 29 work orders.
CEC’s design packets encompassed Bluepeak’s proposed fiber route and any pole replacements (make-ready work) necessary due to failed loading or clearance analysis. We also staked the projects for construction, marking all pole replacements and new pole locations.
