Eastern Substation Transformer Replacement
A new transformer was needed in the Edmond, Oklahoma area to meet the growing load, and to increase reliability and safety. CEC provided design and construction oversight to replace Transformer #3 at Eastern Substation in Edmond. We added oil containment and upgraded low side bus work and miscellaneous equipment.
Also included was the installation of a new transformer relay panel in the control house. CEC produced construction drawings, prepared bids and specifications, and reviewed contractor bids and made recommendations to the City of Edmond.
During the construction phase, CEC provided on-site inspection and coordinated with Edmond Electric, Re-Con Company (construction), and AtlasPower, Inc. (testing & commissioning).
Loafman Substation
CEC was responsible for the site design, including drainage, earthwork and driveways. We coordinated with WFEC, REC, and Enerfin Energy to complete the design.
