I-40 Exit Ramp and Main Street
CEC contracted with the City of Weatherford to provide design services for the redesign of an exit/entrance ramp from westbound/eastbound I-40 at Main Street and for Main Street roadway improvements. Design services included survey, traffic signals, and roadway design plans. The project scope consisted of a redesign of an exit ramp for I-40 westbound traffic, an entrance ramp for I-40 eastbound traffic, and Main Street roadway improvements. Intersection modifications were implemented for Main Street and Washington Avenue, while sidewalks were added for pedestrian access.
CEC combined the services of our Survey, Municipal, Transportation, and Structures Divisions as well as help from the Duncan office for coordination. This project was truly a group effort internally and externally. CEC coordinated with ODOT, City of Weatherford and FHWA.
